The Northern Voyage Series is an expression of restless and relentless exploration into the northernmost regions of the mind.  Each watercolor in the series includes a watery, sea-like base onto which the voyager is propelled.  The voyager is the painter and the act of painting becomes an act of the creation and discovery of images in uncharted water.  A combination of the known and unknown become our guide.
